Privacy Policy

Pace Academy is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any personal information you share with us. You can visit our website without revealing personal information. In some cases, however, we may ask for personal information in order to provide the services you request. This information will be used by Pace Academy only to conduct official school business and will never be disseminated by Pace to any unaffiliated third party. All of the information that we collect from you is subject to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

By using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms. The privacy policy is subject to change at any time. At the time of a material change, the date of the change will be posted on this page.

No part of this site or its contents—including, but not limited to, the school logo—may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise transferred without written permission from Pace.

Collection of Personal Information

Personal information refers to information that allows us to identify you, such as your name, address, zip/postal codes, telephone number, organization name if applicable, email address, etc.

You can generally visit the website without revealing any personally identifiable information. The website will only collect personally identifiable data when voluntarily and knowingly submitted by a user. Some pages require registration of a username and/or password in order to be viewed. Some site functionality—such as automated email alerts—will require you to submit a name and email address. Personal email addresses will be transmitted to the website when completing online forms, applications or sending support requests to the webmaster via email.

Email Privacy and Spam

This website contains email addresses of faculty and staff and (within the password-protected portions of the site) Pace parents. The use of this information for private, commercial, or political mailings and/or distribution to any outside party is prohibited.

Online Giving and Other Transactions

We are committed to the privacy of all of our donors and to those participating in any kind of transaction via the Pace website. Should you decide to make an online donation or purchase, you will be asked to provide your name, contact information and credit card billing information. All of this information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer or SSL, an industry-standard security technology designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide. Credit card billing information is used only to obtain payment from the appropriate credit card firm and to fulfill the donor or purchaser's request and is not stored or otherwise retained by Pace after the transaction is complete.

Use of Information

We use personal contact information supplied to us by users to communicate more effectively with those users. We do not disclose any of your personal information, except as permitted by law, other than to our affiliates, such as our attorneys, and certain service providers, such as third-party website hosts contracted by the school for the purpose of serving our community. We will only release information about you to other parties if you direct us to do so, if compelled to do so by law, or in connection with any government or self-regulatory organization request or investigation.

Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Web browsers have settings allowing you to reject cookies, selectively accept cookies or delete cookies previously accepted. Please be aware that rejecting or deleting cookies from our website may make certain functions unavailable.

This information is anonymous and cannot be directly linked to individual users. We may use it to identify high-use or low-use areas of the site, pinpoint problem areas of the site, analyze broad demographic trends in our visitors, and make decisions regarding improved functionality.
