| | The Fine Arts Center was built in 1990 to accommodate Pace Academy's highly acclaimed visual and performing arts programs. The expansive glass-enclosed lobby, which looks out on the Pace athletic fields, showcases captivationg, inspirational and ever-changing examples of student art. The facility accomodates an extensive range of art and music classes, and a beautiful 600 seat theater – the setting for our acclaimed Fall Musical, as well as other Upper and Middle School yearly productions. Each Friday, Upper School students gather in the theater for morning assembly. Upon the building's debut, the American Institute of Architects named the Fine Arts Center one of the 10 oustanding architectural additions to the city. It has also been featured in the "Architecture in Atlanta" tours. |
