For nearly two decades, I've been immersed in the world of college admissions, offering a unique perspective shaped by my roles on both sides of the desk—as a director of admission and a director of college counseling. This dual lens has given me invaluable insights into how colleges build their communities and how students can best present their authentic selves in the application process.

My journey led me to Pace Academy almost ten years ago, and I've never looked back. The students here drive me to be better every day. In all my years at Pace, I've never once woken up thinking, "I don't really want to go to Pace today." While every day brings its challenges, each one is undeniably worth it because of the incredible students and families I serve.

At Pace, we measure success not by acceptance letters, but by our students' growth throughout the process. We believe that meaningful outcomes naturally follow when students engage in genuine self-reflection and honest exploration. Our team creates a space where students can dig deep, examining not just who they are today, but who they aspire to become. Through our intensive junior and senior year programs, including our unique Storytelling Workshops, we help students uncover and articulate their authentic voices.

While we acknowledge that the college admission process can feel daunting, we choose to embrace its potential for excitement and discovery. Our structured approach, from freshman year through senior spring, transforms anxiety into anticipation. Each meeting, workshop, and conversation is designed to help students find not just a college, but their next home—a place where they'll thrive and continue their journey of growth.
