ICGL in Action
The 2024-2025 Lower School Faculty Cohort will travel to Thailand the week of April 15 to study global issues in preparation for The Year of Food.
The Isdell Center for Global Leadership (ICGL) coordinates a wealth of collaborative experiences with local community partners during the school year through the Community Engagement program. Students interested in further developing their leadership skills in community work during the summer months can explore this curated list of extended summer engagement opportunities that support nonprofit organizations across metro Atlanta.
Upcoming community engagement opportunities include donating new children’s pajamas and toiletries for the Bloom Closet and supporting the Boyce L. Ansley School’s Our Kids Gala at the Fox Theatre.
From planting trees and sorting donations to community garden clean-ups and packing 10,000 meals, over 200 Knights were fully engaged in serving and supporting local and global challenges across seven different Metro Atlanta sites for Pace’s annual MLK Weekend of Service. A huge thank you to all of our community partners for making it happen!
As part of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, the Knights are joining millions of Americans in “a day on, not a day off” to support community engagement efforts across the country.
From Dec. 7-15, support junior Amina Zubairi and her service project focused on improving health and hygiene services in underprivileged communities in Pakistan.
