VolleyballMag.com has recognized junior Kalissa Greene as a member of its 2019 Girls’ Club All-Americans team. An elite group of club coaches votes to determine All-American awards, which honor the top players on the club circuit. Greene is an All-American in the 16s division.

Come support Greene and the Knights this season as they vie for their third state championship. The team faces Riverwood and Marietta High School today, Aug. 22, at 5 and 6 p.m. at Riverwood, and will face Westminster and Lovett on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 5 and 6 p.m. at Westminster.

On Saturday, Aug. 17, Pace coaches heard from renowned basketball coach Kevin Eastman as part of Pace Athletics’ fall coaches meeting. Eastman played basketball for the University of Richmond and coached at the collegiate and professional levels, most recently with the Los Angeles Clippers organization.

Eastman shared career lessons with Pace coaches and spoke on the concept of “teamness,” as well as leadership and culture—or, “TLC.” Coaches received copies of Eastman’s book, Why The Best Are The Best, and participated in a question-and-answer session.
