A Flag-Football First

This Wednesday evening, Dec. 9, our girls flag football team will make history as the squad—the first in Pace history—competes in the first round of the GHSA state tournament. The Knights enter the postseason after capturing the area title and remaining undefeated in region play.

Pace will host the first round of the playoffs (two games) at Walsh Field on Wednesday, and the Knights will face Newton County High School at 6:45 p.m. Attendance is limited to 100 spectators per team and, per GHSA rules, admission is $10. If you would like to cheer on our Knights in this historic undertaking, please register here by Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 12 p.m. (limit 3 per family). Students in attendance will receive free commemorative T-shirts.

Can’t make the game? Watch it live via NFHSnetwork.com. Log in or create an account and search “Pace Academy.” Let’s go, Knights!
