Monday, Nov. 1 marked the first meet of the 50th season of Pace Academy swimming and diving! The teams kicked off their golden season by sweeping Whitefield Academy; the boys won 312-61, and the girls brought home the victory 212-163!

Junior Carter Freudenstein led all swimmers with four first-place finishes and four state-qualifying swims, while junior Barrett Hight also had his first state-qualifying time. Sophomore Claire Easterling led the girls with two first-place finishes and two second-place finishes. The teams combined 29 personal-best times—a great way to get the season started!
