Boys Lacrosse Defeats Kennesaw Mountain on the Road

On Feb. 12, the varsity boys lacrosse team ventured north for an out-of-area contest against Kennesaw Mountain High School. The Knights took the lead early and never surrendered it, bringing home a scrappy, hard-fought 11-9 win.

In his debut start for the Knights, freshman Niko Karetsos scored an impressive six goals, and fellow attackman Steven Morrisroe netted another three. Senior midfielder Jack Jacoby and sophomore Jason Tapper rounded out the remainder of the team's points with one goal each. Senior Mbiti Williams controlled the tempo of the game at the Face-off X, winning 56% of his draws. The defense was led by the senior leadership of captains Aidan Gannon and Ben Ginsberg. Juniors Tripp Trimble, Evan Karetsos and Tommy Assaf all handled their matchups well.
