On Sept. 14, after the varsity cross-country team’s top seven runners took on the state course at the Carrollton Invitational, the rest of the team stepped up and raced at Westminster. The top five girls scoring for the Knights were senior Austin Culpepper in 10th, sophomore Wells Howe in 13th, senior Raina Moseley 21st, sophomore Ellie Arenth 27th and freshman Sydney Lettes 35th.   

The boys had an awesome race with freshman Benjamin Ganz placing fifth, sophomore Henry Gaudet eighth, freshman Eric Pan 10th, freshman, Brian Silverboard 11th and sophomore William Souza 12th. The team will race again this Friday, Sept. 24, under the lights in Cartersville, Ga., in the championship division of the Wingfoot Invitational.
