On Dec. 3, the Pace eKnights Rocket League team won its match over the West Laurens High School Raiders in decisive fashion by a score of 3-0. Team captain and senior Aiden Critz was the leading goal scorer on the day and provided great leadership and communication, which set the tone and kept the team on the same “screen” throughout the match. 

Games one and two both started close, with scores tied at 1-1, but the eKnights pulled away for comfortable wins of 4-1 and 3-1. In game three, the eKnights established a significant lead; the game was never in doubt despite West Laurens’ scoring a two consolation goals. The Knights’ 6-2 win ended the best-of-five match. 

The eKnights are now 3-3 on the season with two matches remaining. They need at least a split of the final two competitions to have a good chance at making the playoffs.
