The varsity flag football team claimed a 7-6 victory in an exhibition game against Mount Vernon on Saturday, Oct. 30. The Knights were led by sophomore Kateylyn Souza, who had a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown, and sophomore Cece Hale, who scored the game-winning extra point. The Knights “JV” squad was able to take the field and finished in a 13-13 tie against Mount Vernon's varsity team. It was a great day for the Fall Fair and flag football! Please continue to support the flag football team on Monday, Nov. 8, as the Knights travel to Denmark High School for matchups versus Denmark and Blessed Trinity.
