Football Takes Off with Victory vs. Therrell High School

The varsity football team followed up its Homecoming win over Lovett with a dominant performance against Therrell High School. Sophomore Maddox Crawford led the Knights’ passing game with 97 yards and two touchdowns with five completions on five attempts. Senior Henry Smith had two receptions and one touchdown. Junior Conner Phelan also threw for two touchdowns, while sophomore George Little threw a 54-yard touchdown on the final play of the game. 

Defensively, the Knights picked off the Therrell quarterback three times. Junior Brody Hingst captured his first interception of the season, while both sophomore Terrence Kiel and junior Davis Rice had interceptions. Senior Jack Siegenthaler led the Knights’ defense with four total tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack.
