The varsity softball team was looking for revenge against region rival Lovett on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Lovett took the lead early in the game and held on until the fifth inning when the Knights got their bats moving and put up seven runs to take the lead and secure the victory. Both at the plate and in the field, the entire team was involved in the 9-6 victory. Against Holy Innocents’ on Thursday, Sept. 22, the Knights added a second victory over the Bears for the season. Senior Madison Hadley led the defense with a whopping 10 strikeouts in seven innings. At the plate, freshman Reese Honeycutt led the Knights with three hits on the night. Pace fought at the plate, and ended the game with zero strike outs of their own as they earned the 10-5 victory.
