The varsity volleyball traveled to the LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Ga., on Saturday, Oct. 30, to face Union County High School in the state semifinals. Offensively, Pace was led by a number of attackers, including sophomores Grace Agolli, Ellie Siskin, Gadit Bejar and junior Briea Craft. Sophomore Dhru Lalaji, senior Taylor Knowlton and sophomore Ellie Siskin once again anchored the defense. Both Agolli and sophomore Isabelle Wilhelm continued to run the offense with precision.
It was an overall team effort that paved the way for Pace to advance to the state finals. The Knights will face the impressive and experienced Gordon Lee that defeated Lovett in the other semifinal—a rematch of last year’s state finals. The state championship will take place at LakePoint Sports Complex at noon Saturday, Nov. 6. Come support our varsity volleyball team Saturday!
