Celebrating a Construction Milestone

Recent sunny skies allowed crews constructing the Kam Memar Lower School to make quick work of the project’s structural steel erection. On Wednesday, Dec. 2, workers placed the new building’s final major beam, marking its official “topping out.” Students watched and cheered from the playground as the beam—signed by all Lower School students, faculty and staff—was hoisted high into the sky and secured atop the building.

Now that steel work is complete, crews will begin to construct the roof system to help protect the building from the elements and allow for work on the interior finishes. Learn all about the project at accelerate.paceacademy.org
