Next week, the Isdell Center for Global Leadership (ICGL) will take over the Middle School with ICGL Minimesters and study tours. Now in its third year, the Minimester program immerses students in learning beyond the traditional classroom, offering deeper exploration of global issues in and around Atlanta. Courses include Effective Leadership in a Complex World, Storytellers of Atlanta: Journalism & Media in Action and Soundtrack of the City: Atlanta.

At the same time, Middle School students not participating in Minimesters will be learning across the globe. By the end of the week, 103 students and 21 faculty members will have traveled on seven study tours to five international destinations: the Amazon, Ireland, Martinique, Peru and the United Arab Emirates.
