Juniors Spencyr Aronson and Maya Kaplan have been selected to participate in Covenant House Georgia's Scholars in Service program, made up of 30 high school students who have a passion for service.
Through the program, students learn about the causes and effects of youth homelessness while making a profound impact on the lives of young people experiencing it. Participants are paired with mentors from businesses or nonprofits who guide them in developing leadership skills.
While in the program, scholars fundraise for Covenant House Georgia and the youth they serve. Already, the Scholars in Service have raised more than $30,000 towards their $65,000 goal!
