On Friday, Feb. 12, teams of Middle School students weighed down by countless non-perishable items put their creative juices to work to benefit Meals On Wheels Atlanta. Students worked throughout the Garcia Family Middle School to build elaborate themed structures out of cans, boxes and bags of food. Following the competition, students packed two vans full of items for Meals On Wheels pantries.
