Community Engagement in Action: Swim Across America & Walk ALS

On Saturday, Sept. 20, two Community Engagement clubs made a big impact. At Lake Lanier Olympic Park, the Pace cohort for Swim Across America, led by senior Samantha Dubovy and junior Neal Narula, joined the annual Atlanta Open Water Swim—raising $12,000 for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. That same day, members of Pace Against ALS (PAALS) participated in the 2025 Walk ALS Georgia, bringing in $8,700 to support ALS United of Georgia and its free programs for those affected by ALS. Together, our Knights raised more than $20,000 in a single day to help fund critical causes.
