On Tuesday, Sept. 21, the fifth grade ventured downtown to tour the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. After a recent on-campus visit from the Center’s education coordinator, Kate Moore, to discuss ethical footprints, equity and the connections between human rights and consumerism, the students applied their learnings as they explored the Center’s civil and human rights exhibits.
