On Saturday, Nov. 3, the varsity boys and girls cross-country teams traveled to Carrollton, Ga., to compete in the GHSA Class AAA state meet. Both teams ran exceptionally well.
The girls finished third in the state, with junior Paula Sandoval and freshman Laura Arenth bringing home sixth- and eighth-place medals, respectively.
The boys finished fourth in the state, and junior George Adams brought home the 10th-place individual medal. Way to go, runners, coaches, trainers and fans!
