It’s Opening Night!

Not in the mood for homework? The Middle School play, The SeussOdyssey, has you covered. Let Narrator 1 and 2 and Narrator Red and Narrator Blue take you on a literary journey, and watch as Homer's Odyssey is transformed into the style of Dr. Seuss, complete with a cyclops ("Oh the sights you can spy with only one eye!"), sirens that rock and sea monsters on scooters. The classic slaughter of the suitors is acted out with teddy bears, and the sorceress Circe is serving up crew members with a side of green eggs. The SeussOdyssey is a hilarious and speedy reimagining of the classic epic.

Performances take place today, Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. and tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. Admission to tonight’s performance is free and open to masked guests; Friday’s show is for Pace students, faculty and staff only. Pace Academy would like to apologize to Homer and the entire Ancient Greek civilization for the show. KIDDING! Sorry, not sorry. Let the hilarity begin!
