Knight Night Drive & Our Kids Gala

Upcoming community engagement opportunities include donating new children’s pajamas and toiletries for the Bloom Closet and supporting the Boyce L. Ansley School’s Our Kids Gala at the Fox Theatre.

Join seniors Ellie Arenth and Gabby Mautner and Pace’s Bloom Closet club for their annual Bloom Closet's Knight Night Drive from Monday, Jan. 29, to Friday, Feb. 2. The group will collect donations of new pajamas—sized infant through teen—and toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant) to help Georgia’s foster children get a good night's sleep. There will be collection bins located at the second-floor Upper School entrance, the Middle School rotunda and the Lower School main entrance. For every set of pajamas or toiletries Middle and Upper School students donate, they will receive one community engagement credit hour; max four hours.

Through partnership with Pace’s fourth grade and Upper School Ansley Club, The Boyce L. Ansley School has been a fabulous community engagement partner for the Knights—and it needs our help. Ansley is looking for support for its upcoming Our Kids Gala, held at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. This gala is the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year and supports the mission of providing an independent-school education experience to students experiencing homelessness. As Ansley does not offset costs with tuition or fees like other independent schools, all proceeds raised during the annual event directly cover scholarships, meals, uniforms, staff salaries, building costs, and therapeutic and support services for children and families. Please consider attending the event, becoming a sponsor or donating items to support the educational mission of the Ansley School.
