Knights Earn 22 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Upper School visual artists and writers made a strong showing in this year’s regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards—the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades seven through 12. The competition honors excellence across 28 categories of art and writing, and 13 Knights brought home a total of 22 awards.

Gold Key awards went to sophomore Jack DeFrancis, junior Sophia Halsey (artwork pictured) and senior Izzie Eshiwani-Nate. Their work will automatically advance for consideration at the national level, where awards and scholarships are up for grabs.
