Knights Earn 29 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Each year, thousands of students enter the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for the opportunity to earn scholarships and have their works exhibited or published. This year, Upper School student-artists received an impressive 29 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Junior Terrence Kiel and freshman Angelika Avdyeyeva (whose work is pictured) earned Gold Keys in the photography and painting categories, respectively—a designation that represents “the very best work submitted to local programs.” 

Silver Keys were awarded to juniors Gadit Bejar (x2), Julia Diaz, Erielle Harris and Amelia Honabach (x3); sophomores Griffin Bryan and Charles Smith; and freshman Bennett Cummings (x2). Additionally, Honorable Mentions went to seniors Caroline Cole (x2), Briea Craft; juniors Katherine Davis, Honabach (x3), Reita Maguire (x4), Kaitlyn Souza and Isabelle Wilhelm; sophomore Claire Jiang; and freshmen Jocelyn Axelrod and Cummings.
