Over the past two weekends, Pace’s math team competed at the University of Georgia and Rockdale County tournaments. In Athens, the talented team of seniors David Fu and Prabhavh Pradeep, sophomore Arnav Maddineni and freshman Sriarvind Padmanabhan finished 14th out of more than 70 teams, with both Pradeep and Fu finishing in the top 20 individually; Maddineni landed in the top 40.
In Conyers, the varsity team consisted of seniors Fu and Morgan Goldstrom and juniors Stephen Yang and Claire Jiang. The JV team was sophomores Maddineni, Noah Eisenman, David Halsey and freshman Padmanabhan. Maddeneni was the top JV scorer and tied for the highest number of correct answers in the individual round. Yang was the top varsity scorer. As a team, the JV squad was fifth overall in the Large School division, while the varsity team was sixth overall—and third among Georgia schools. Congratulations to these students on their great work!
