An Impactful MLK Weekend of Service

The Isdell Center for Global Leadership was thrilled to see so many students, alumni, faculty and families join them at events across Metro Atlanta for Pace’s annual MLK Weekend of Service. From planting trees and sorting donations to community garden clean-ups and packing 10,000 meals, over 200 Knights were fully engaged in serving and supporting local and global challenges across seven different sites. A huge thank you to Pace partners at Rise Against Hunger, Trees Atlanta, Atlanta Mission, Lost-n-Found Youth and Atlanta Beltline for organizing such incredible community-focused events this past weekend! “I am appreciative of all who came out to engage with their neighbors and support Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community,” says Associate ICGL Director Ted Ward.
