Varsity volleyball is already off to a stellar start! Over the summer, the Knights were recognized with the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT. The honor recognizes teams that maintain a year-long GPA of 3.3 or higher. Even more impressively, the Knights earned a spot on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, placing them in the top 20% of academic achievers nationwide by division.

In addition, senior Lawson Monroe was named one of MaxPreps’ top 10 hitters in the Class of 2026. Known for her dominance at the net and leadership on the court, Monroe led the Knights to their eighth consecutive state title, earning Class AAAA Player of the Year honors along the way. The two-sport standout recorded 506 kills in a 43–6 volleyball campaign, then transitioned to basketball season, where she averaged 15.3 points per game.
