Olympian Lindsay Tarpley Visits Pace Jan. 13

On Tuesday, Jan. 13, two-time Olympic gold medalist Lindsay Tarpley will visit Pace as the featured speaker for the inaugural Bara Family Keynote. Tarpley, a veteran of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, is appearing as part of a new facet of the Mental Wellness Initiative, made possible by Pace parents Erin and Dan Bara.

After a day engaging with students across all divisions, Tarpley will conclude her visit with Going for the Gold, an evening presentation focused on resilience, identity and wellbeing in high-achieving young people. The event, which is open to all members of the Pace community, will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. in The Zalik Theater.

Prior to the presentation, Booster Club members and any of their Pace student-athletes attending the event are invited to a private meet-and-greet to hear from Tarpley in a more intimate setting and take photos. The meet-and-great will take place from 6 to 6:45 p.m. in the Arthur M. Blank Upper School’s Seaman Family Student Commons.
