Singers Hit the Right Note at Region Literary Meet

Under the direction of Upper School Choral Director Hannah O’Connor, Pace’s talented choral team made an impressive showing at the GHSA Region Literary Meet, earning second place overall in the region.

Sophomore Lucy Bryan took first place in the Girls Vocal Solo category with performances of Someone to Watch Over Me and When Love is Kind. Bryan joined freshmen Lexie Kaufman and Elizabeth Romig to form the Girls Vocal Trio, which also took first place with renditions of Danny Boy and Simple Gifts. In another standout performance, senior Nailah Beachem was the runner-up in the Solo Literary Interpretation category.

With these outstanding results, Pace will advance to the GHSA State Literary Championships in both the Girls Vocal Solo and Girls Vocal Trio categories. Congratulations to these talented performers, and best of luck at state!
