The Isdell Center for Global Leadership (ICGL) coordinates a wealth of collaborative experiences with local community partners during the school year through the Community Engagement program. Students interested in further developing their leadership skills in community work during the summer months can explore this curated list of extended summer engagement opportunities that support nonprofit organizations across metro Atlanta.

Depending on your interest in various social challenges, previous experience with community organizations or interest in potential career pathways, these summer programs provide both engagement-rich experiences and on-site learning opportunities for Upper School students.

For questions about the application process or to learn more about any of these opportunities, we have provided links on the document to program websites and coordinator contacts.

For individual help getting an application started, writing a cover letter, developing your resume or deciding which program is the best fit, please reach out to Associate Director of the ICGL Ted Ward to schedule a meeting.
