Pace Camp

Pace Camp is a traditional day camp for rising kindergarten through fifth graders offered in weekly sessions. Activities include arts and crafts, recreation, swimming and more. In addition to the regular activities, special days are offered each session, including Wacky Wednesday, Dress Up Days, Relays, Bingo & Special Guests!
 

Dates:
Session 4: July 15 - July 19

Full day: 9 a.m.- 3:45 p.m.

Rising kindergarten through fifth grades

$425/session

Activities:

All campers will enjoy art, recreation and swimming lessons. If your camper will be in second through fifth grade in the fall of 2019, they will get to choose some of their activities when they arrive at camp. If your camper will be in attendance multiple weeks, we will try to give your camper a variety of four electives.  Some Past Elective options include:  swim for fun, cheerleading, drama, Einstein’s Lab, GaGa, gymnastics, Art for fun and pickup games. Electives for each session will be announced as we get closer to Camp!

Our younger campers participate in a variety of activities, including drama, gymnastics, arts & crafts, Ga-Ga, recreational games and swimming lessons.

All activities are designed to reflect the ages and abilities of each group. In addition to the regular activities, special days are offered each session, including Fun/Dress up Friday, Bingo and Wacky Wednesday.

Lunch:
Lunch is included in tuition. There is a hot food item each day as well as green salad, fruit salad, peanut butter and jelly (and plain jelly and plain peanut butter) sandwiches, deli sandwiches, lemonade and water. Sage Dining, our food service provider, is able to accommodate all types of dietary needs. Please list your campers needs on the registration form or call our office and let us know, 404-240-9130.

Camp Staff:

Pace Camp is coordinated by the Director of Summer Programs. An experienced camp director supervises the daily operation of the camp. Each camp activity is supervised by an adult and is assisted by a trained high school student.  Many of our camp counselors come back year after year!

What Your Camper Needs:
Your camper will need a swimsuit and towel in a bag. Campers should wear athletic shoes, not flip-flops or sandals. Please mark every article of clothing and equipment brought to the camp, including towels and shoes.

Snack Bar:
This year, the snack bar will be open to every camper on every day they are attending camp! Each group of campers will have a designated time to choose a snack & a drink during the camp day. Campers in our after care program will visit the trading post each afternoon for an additional snack & drink. (After Care snack/drink menu is limited).

Extended Day:
Before care and after care are available by the week.
