Ninth grade

Why did you choose Pace?
The community. I think everyone I know answers with that, but I truly believe it because Pace has created a space where you're able to explore yourself and find other people to support you in the process. The way Pace continues to keep the entire school connected, from Pre-First to alumni, made me feel like there would be somewhere for me as I ventured through high school.

What’s one thing you wish you knew when you started at Pace?
People are willing to help, but you have to be willing to ask.  

What is your favorite thing about Pace?
My favorite thing about Pace has always been the free periods. As a freshman, this was definitely the time where I just talked to my friends and experienced my first glimpses of "freedom". But, as a sophomore, I used my free time more productively. The great thing about your free periods is that it is your time to do whatever you want with, but you learn the power of discipline and balance very quickly.
