Class of 2030

What year did you start at Pace?

I started in sixth grade.

Why did you choose Pace?

I chose Pace mainly because of the community. I was going to apply to Pace because my brother went there, and he loved it. When I started touring, I realized why he loved it so much. The people there were so welcoming, and it felt like the perfect fit. I really liked the small size of the school and how you could get one-on-one time with your teachers. I also remember going to the open house and looking up to the student ambassadors. I loved that you could show families around and that compelled me to do it during my seventh-grade year.

Describe the activities you are involved in at Pace.

I am also doing swimming and soccer, which I have done in both sixth and seventh grade. Pace recently started a Middle School flag football team, so I am excited to try out for that this year. As a sixth grader, I loved that I could play sports at Pace, unlike many other schools. Playing sports in Middle School allowed me to meet new people, especially older girls. During my sixth-grade soccer season, I remember looking up to the eighth graders, who would give me tips and were always so nice to me.

How have you grown during your time at Pace?

Through these past two years, I have become more responsible and independent. I have learned better ways to study and have built bonds with my classmates and teachers.

Why should prospective students be interested in Pace?

Pace has so much to offer! There are so many opportunities in academics, arts, sports, clubs, ICGL trips, and more. The community is so welcoming and everyone is so supportive.
