Dr. Sandra Cohen Hennessy is a practicing dentist with a focus on general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. She partners with her father at Cohen Dental Center in Dunwoody, Ga.

Dr. Cohen studied at Emory University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Philosophy and her Masters of Public Health in Policy and Management.  In 2010, she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University. For her post-graduate training, Dr. Cohen served as a general practice resident at Long Island Jewish Hospital with rotations in oral surgery, emergency medicine, dental anesthesiology, and pediatric dentistry.  In addition to her private practice, “Dr. Sandi” is a clinical instructor at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta. She also serves as a clinic captain and is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, an educational organization.

Sandi enjoys spending time with her husband Sean Hennessy ‘94 and their daughter Audrey.  Sandi is a private pilot and enjoys flying whenever time permits. She volunteers through Pet Partners with her Golden Retriever Lily, a certified therapy dog.  Sandi also participates in dental outreach programs.
