IN WHAT GRADE DID YOU JOIN PACE?
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE YOU INVOLVED IN AT PACE?
I am very involved in the lacrosse team at Pace, and I am focused on growing the team. Throughout high school, I have been on the varsity cross-country team, Student Council treasurer and a Student Ambassador. I am passionate about the environment and biology, and I hope to contribute to stopping climate change someday.
WHY DID YOUR FAMILY CHOOSE PACE?
We chose Pace because of the welcoming environment and the family-like atmosphere, which immediately surrounded our class. Everyone was so kind and supportive, and the teachers are so great. They want to see you succeed in school and in life, and they are interested in getting to know you outside of class, which has been really helpful throughout high school.
HOW HAVE YOU GROWN DURING YOUR TIME AT PACE?
Pace has allowed me to develop into a person who feels confident in their actions. I learned things about myself during my time here that helped me become a better student, athlete and friend.
HOW HAS PACE PREPARED YOU FOR COLLEGE?
Pace is very challenging academically, so it has definitely helped me prepare for college. Non-academically, it has helped me socially; because it is so small, you have to get to know everyone, which is really great because you could become friends with people you otherwise would have never crossed paths with.
WHO HAS HAD THE GREATEST IMPACT ON YOUR DURING YOUR TIME AT PACE?
My teachers and friends have had the most impact on me during my time at Pace. They all consistently pushed me towards my goals and were always encouraging. I couldn’t have achieved all that I have without my teachers and friends.
WHY SHOULD PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS BE INTERESTED IN PACE?
Pace is simply a great place. It is so welcoming, and the environment is so healthy and easy to be a part of. Pace offers such a great balance of challenging academics and fun sports and extracurriculars. Pace makes it possible to both focus on school and to play a competitive sport, or to be incredibly passionate about something else entirely.
