IN WHAT GRADE DID YOU JOIN PACE?
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PACE?
Pace seemed like a really supportive environment for students and gave me the best chance at succeeding. There were also a lot of opportunities outside of the classroom, like theatre, arts and sports. Pace really caters to a lot of interests and focuses on working on the student as a whole.
HOW HAVE YOU GROWN DURING YOUR TIME AT PACE?
I’ve been able to explore the theatre, an area I had never explored before. Pace has given me the opportunity to find something I’m interested in and to be a part of. It’s also helped me socially and allowed me to meet new people.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PEERS AT PACE?
They are very supportive and push each other to do well. During finals week, a lot of kids work together to study for exams, and I really think the collaborative and supportive environment is beneficial for the stressful atmosphere of finals week.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PACE?
The free periods...wait, let me explain. I really think they’re helpful for students who have after-school activities, and if you use your time wisely, they allow you to get a bunch of your work and studying done during the day.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHERS?
I really enjoy my relationships with my teachers. I think they really care about the students’ well-being and want to see us do well. Sometimes I’ll stay after class to get extra help from my teachers or just to talk about how I am doing in class. I really think forming good relationships with your teachers can go a long way in the classroom.
