Our Food Service partner, Flik, is a leader in institutional food preparation and service, and will ensure food safety, sanitation and healthy serving practices. Flik will provide individually packaged lunches. Students will eat in a socially distanced fashion in the Lower School Cafeteria and in Boyd Gymnasium; Middle and Upper School students will eat lunch at distanced tables in the Inman Center cafeteria, along the Inman Center indoor track and throughout the Gardens.
Flik wants every student to feel included and valued during lunch. An allergy friendly option will be available daily for all students with food allergies through packaged meal pick-ups in the cafeterias.
Vegetarian and vegan options will be available at each station and designated meal pick-up location. Students with special dietary restrictions are encouraged to notify the appropriate division leadership and request a call with our on-site managers to review lunch options. Allergen information will be posted at the point of service on Flik’s customized allergy board and at every meal pick-up location. Students can use this tool to identify foods that are safe to eat.
During lunch, Flik’s executive chef or food service director will be available to answer questions and help students navigate meal options during lunch service. Visit the Pace Academy dining website, where you can access the menu and review meal options with your student.
