IN WHAT GRADE DID YOU JOIN PACE?
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE YOU INVOLVED IN AT PACE?
Theater, Drama Club, Pace Academy Student Support (PASS), Wrestling team manager, Knightingales (extracurricular singing group,) Zaban Club (service group).
HOW HAS PACE PREPARED YOU FOR COLLEGE?
The curriculum at Pace has challenged me to develop study- and time-management skills. The amazing Pace faculty has taught me how to independently seek help when I have faced challenges as well as push myself to think outside of the box. Non-academically, I have been able to experience opportunities in the arts, athletics, and clubs. These experiences have taught me about what I am passionate about going into college.
WHY SHOULD PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS BE INTERESTED IN PACE?
Pace is like a really big family. You will meet so many amazing people at Pace and have endless amounts of opportunities. The teachers at Pace will push you to succeed academically while also challenging you to go outside of your comfort zone. There are so many fun Pace traditions like homecoming, Spirit week, GAP day, Phlotilla, and so much more.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE CLASS?
My favorite class is English. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. At Pace most of the English classes are open discussions which I find very interesting because it gives insight into your classmates’ opinions and ideas. Some of the books I have read in class have become my absolute favorites.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PACE TRADITION?
Spirit Week is definitely my favorite tradition. This takes place following winter break and is a great way to transition into second semester. During this week, each grade comes together under a specific theme and comes up with a performance that is done during that Friday’s pep rally. It is a great way to bond with your classmates and to create fun competition with the other grades. This was something I was very excited for when going into high school.
