Capital and Endowment Giving

Capital and endowment gifts are an investment in the future of Pace Academy. The generous donors who support Pace in these ways further our strategic initiatives, secure Pace’s future for current and future generations of students and ensure that it remains on the forefront of education—recognized as one of the finest independent schools in the country.

Capital Giving at Pace Academy

Since Pace Academy was founded, our community has generously supported capital fundraising initiatives, helping to create the outstanding campus and facilities our faculty, staff and students enjoy today.

The Kam Memar Lower School, which opened in late 2021, is Pace Academy’s most recent capital undertaking. Over 1,100 gifts to the Accelerate Pace capital campaign raised more than $33 million for the new Lower School, bringing to campus 36,500 square-feet of new state-of-the-art learning spaces. The campaign also provided for renovations to the existing facilities and updates to the surrounding grounds, including the addition of The World’s Greatest Playground.

The Arthur M. Blank Family Upper School, Riverview Sports Complex and Walsh Field, Garcia Family Middle School, Inman Center, and the Fine Arts Center are other signature spaces on the Pace campus made possible through generous giving to capital campaigns.

As the Accelerate Pace campaign began, we shared the statement: With academic excellence and student wellness at the center, we will ensure that all Pace’s facilities match the quality of the experiences inside.
“This is critical to all that we do and to how we are able to offer students a welcoming, empowering and supportive learning environment for mental and emotional growth. The new Kam Memar Lower School brings us new spaces and resources that allow us to ensure our students have such an environment.

-Kacy Brubaker, Lower School Director of Student Life

The Pace Academy Endowment

The Pace Academy Endowment is a growing pool of funds that provides Pace a permanent monetary foundation, safeguarding its strength and stability and ensuring that it continues to grow and flourish.

Donors to the endowment give directly with cash or securities, or through a variety of Planned Giving vehicles. Their contributions, which can be unrestricted or designated for specific purposes, are invested, and earnings supply resources for school priorities including faculty salaries and professional development, student financial aid, and the extraordinary academic, athletic and arts programs that set Pace apart. The endowment includes a general fund as well as 30 named endowments, most created by families or foundations—often in tribute to loved ones or other esteemed individuals.

Making a Lasting Impact

The generosity of our forward-looking and deeply committed capital and endowment donors ensures Pace will serve students and families for all generations to come. We are grateful for their foresight and thoughtfulness in making gifts with a lasting impact—providing generous support, vital to the future of our school.
